FCS-200 Taper ties are used when specifications call for removal of form ties from concrete walls. Conventional taper ties are supplied with contour threads and a variety of hardware in standard sizes. Acme thread or variations of these sizes are available on special order. A complete assembly consists of one taper tie, two flat washers, and two nut devices such as wing nuts. Other working parts, such as batter washers, handle heavy form nuts, or multiple lagnuts, can be substituted. Conventional taper ties are made with a taper length of 48” or less. Other taper lengths are available on request. For wrenching purposes, the large end of the taper tie is made with a square end. Smaller end is designed with a protrusion to prevent thread damage during removal.

Taper Ties should be continually inspected and replaced when wear or damage is noted.

FCS-209 4-Strut coil ties are a versatile and economical form tie system for medium and heavy concrete construction. Used with coil bolts, flat washers, and cones, when required. Coil threads on bolts are fast acting and self cleaning.

FCS-201 She bolts are heavy-duty, reusable form ties for medium and heavy concrete construction. She bolts are supplied with external and internal contour threads to meet standard construction practices. The she-bolt form tie system is a positive disconnect system designed for use with gang and steel forms, and provides for any required tie setback. Using a nut washer or wing nut on the external threaded end of the she bolt allows this system to be used on different formwork thicknesses. Inexpensive expendable inside tie rods are used, which allow the she-bolt assembly to be passed through the forms after both form sides have been set in place. She bolts should be continually inspected and replaced when wear or damage is noted.

FCS-210 The cone-tight coil tie is designed to be attached to a plastic cone on the tie to create a break back. Available in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” nominal diameters. Cones are easily attached to the protruding coils. Coils protrude 5/16” on the 1/2” diameter and 1/2” on the larger sizes.

FCS-202 Batter washers are used when ledgers are at an angle to the coil rod and are designed to swing freely. Nail holes permit nailing to wood form members. Multiple lumber grips on the underside prevent slippage when not nailed.

FCS-211 The water-resistant coil tie is a 2-strut or 4-strut coil tie available in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, and 1-1/2” nominal diameters. A water-stop Neoprene washer is attached to each strut to inhibit seepage of water along the struts.

FCS-203 Flat washers are manufactured from high-carbon, flat steel plate in sizes designed to develop full bearing.

FCS-212 Coil nuts are manufactured with contour thread and are available in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” diameters.

FCS-213 Heavy coil nuts are long nuts designed to develop safe working loads of through-tie forming systems. Available in 1/2” through 1-1/2” diameters with Contour thread.

FCS-204 Wing nuts are made of ductile iron and can be used for any application requiring frequent removal and application. They are manufactured in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, and 1-1/2” diameter coil threads.

FCS-214 The high-tensile coil rod can be used in a variety of combinations with other products. Stocked in 10 ft., 12 ft. and 20 ft. lengths.

FCS-205 Inner rods are manufactured from high-carbon steel with coil or National Coarse machine thread. Can be manufactured with crimps upon request. A crimp or a flat is recommended for rods under 24” long.

Type A: Threaded both ends.
Type B: Continuous threaded coil rod.

FCS-215 Coil rod couplers are used to couple two inner rods of the same diameter. Contour threaded coupler is used with Contour thread systems and is manufactured with a positive stop. Hex coupler is normally supplied with National Coarse threads, with Contour threads available on request.

FCS-206 Crimped anchors are used with she bolts for form anchoring in mass concrete construction. Manufactured in either coil or National Coarse thread.

FCS-207 Weld-on pivot bracket is designed to tie single-sided forming to steel structural members in the field. This bracket offers maximum adjustability in one-sided forming applications—a full 110 degrees movement, 55 degrees in either direction. Will exceed the tensile capacity of the form-tie when correctly installed by a certified welder.

FCS-216 The coil nut washer offers the advantages of a washer and a nut in a one-piece ductile unit. Designed to spread bolt loads over wood form members. Four nail holes for securing nut washer to form work.

FCS-217 Rock anchors are used in form tying and anchoring to concrete or rock. Preassembled two-part unit is tapped with 1/2”, 3/4”, or 1” diameter coil threads. National Coarse threads available on request.
